The Viola Schoolhouse was built in 1894 and used as a school in the Estacada school district which discontinued holding classes in 1946. The Schoolhouse was then purchased by the Weston Family and donated to the Viola Community. Today, this historic
building continues to serve as a community center for residents of the Viola, Redland, and Estacada Communities.
The Schoolhouse is under the conservatorship of the Viola Community Club, Inc., and is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit.
